Reviews and Ratings
Staying at the Waldorf was an incredible experience. The hotel is steeped in history and offers stunning decor, especially in the lobby with the beautiful mosaic floor. The staff was unmatched in their hospitality, going above and beyond. While the location is perfect for exploring the city, my room, although spacious, showed some signs of wear. The dining options were delightful, particularly the Waldorf Salad, but it might be a little pricey for some.
I was excited for my first stay at the Waldorf Astoria but ended up feeling underserved and overpriced. While the location is fantastic and the building itself remains beautiful, my experience with staff and various hotel facilities left a lot to be desired. I had several issues with service and cleanliness that were surprising for a hotel of this reputed caliber, but I did appreciate the comfortable room and the charm of the lobby.
I recently had a fantastic weekend getaway at this hotel with my friends, and the experience was mostly wonderful thanks to the great ambiance and considerate staff. The room I got could have been better, as it wasn’t as clean as I expected, but it was comfortable enough for our stay. While we enjoyed some lovely dining options in the hotel, I did have a frustrating check-in experience due to the delays. Overall, I would recommend it, especially for its history and charm.
Staying at the Waldorf Astoria in New York was quite an experience. The location is fantastic, making it easy to explore all parts of Manhattan on foot. I loved having two bathrooms in our room, which was a nice touch. However, I found it quite frustrating that we couldn't open any windows for fresh air when the room got too warm. The service was mostly on point, but we did encounter some delays during our check-in process.
Staying at this hotel was truly an enchanting experience, steeped in history and charm. The grandeur of the ballrooms and lobby made me feel like I was part of something special. The customer service was outstanding, led by dedicated staff who went above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. However, some room amenities felt a bit outdated and could use modernization. Overall, it’s a perfect spot for anyone wanting to soak in the history and elegance of New York City.
